Biogas plant in Pallikare GP- Vaishakh Balan

The below image is a perfect example of what is wrong with our waste management system.The biogas plant located in the premises of Pallikare grama panchayath in Kasargod has been lying idle since its inception in 2004-05. The plant which was constructed using  panchayath fund and was never once operated.However the plant is notorious for the vigilance cases and audit queries  that accompanied it since its birth. The saga still continues..
