This is a collective of Assistant Engineers holding post graduation in Environmental Engineering belonging to Local self Government department Kerala. Here we aim to discuss the most serious issue concerning our rural and urban local bodies-waste management. With rapid urbanization and changing lifestyles waste management has become a nightmare for local authorities throughout the state. This platform thus provides a venue for the experts to share their experience,their knowledge and expertise, and thus help policy makers in dealing this serious issue.
